UK-GBA Conference Sub-forum II
On the afternoon of Thursday, 20 November 2025, the 2025 UK-Greater Bay Area Conference Sub-forum II—Overseas Development for Chinese Companies via the Greater Bay Area organized by the China-Britain Business Council (CBBC) and co-hosted by the Shenzhen International Business e-Station, the Tsinghua MBA Go Beyond Association, and the GBA Finance Talk, was successfully held at the JEN Hotel in Qianhai, Shenzhen. The forum brought together government representatives, academics, legal and financial experts, and business leaders for in-depth discussions on the strategic planning, market opportunities, and risk management for Chinese enterprises going global.
Qianhai Platform Offers Significant Advantages to Support Enterprises Going Global
In his opening remarks, He Yang, Head of the Shenzhen International Business e-Station, announced that the platform was officially upgraded in October to the “International Business Service Port for Guangdong Enterprises,” recognized as the only official overseas services platform in Guangdong Province. Qianhai, as a cooperation zone between Shenzhen and Hong Kong and part of the Guangdong Pilot Free Trade Zone, boasts four major advantages: cross-border convenience, notable achievements in openness, a superior business environment, and broad development opportunities. The platform has already registered over 40,000 enterprises, offering one-stop services ranging from Certificate of Origin issuance and ODI filing to global procurement information matching. In the future, it plans to conduct nationwide visits with professional institutions to precisely address the needs of enterprises going global.
