Prime Minister Keir Starmer Arrives in Beijing
Prime Minister Keir Starmer has arrived in Beijing, marking the first visit of a UK PM to China since Theresa May in 2018. The PM, accompanied by Secretary of State Peter Kyle and a delegation of nearly 60 British business and cultural organisations, landed in Beijing in the late afternoon. The visit is expected to last four days.
CBBC Chair Sir Sebastian Wood is part of the delegation. We will provide real-time updates throughout the visit.
We look forward to supporting the visit and delegation to ensure the best possible commercial outcomes for Britain.
