Peking University HSBC Business School - Sino-British Youth Innovation Competition, UK Final
Zheng Yingzi, Vice Dean of the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship of Peking University, Peter Burnett, CEO of CBBC, and Han Bing, Deputy Director of the UK Campus of Peking University HSBC Business School, delivered speeches. Jing Yanguo, Dean of the Business School of the University of Cumbria, delivered a keynote speech entitled "Innovation and Entrepreneurship Trends in China and the UK". Judges and guests from the University of Oxford, the University of Cambridge, J.P. Morgan, Jiangyuan Investment, HSBC UK, Allsee Technologies, Yingke London Law Firm and other institutions, as well as more than 40 teachers and students from Chinese and British universities, took part in this event. The event was hosted by Li Xinran, from the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre, Peking University HSBC Business School.

In the final, 11 projects from the fields of AI, life science, energy and materials were presented, and a number of expert judges reviewed and scored the projects. Among fierce competition, the "Healthspan Biotics - AI-driven neuroprotective probiotics" project from the University of Cambridge won the gold medal; The University of Cambridge team "Decoding Life Technology: Leading a New Era of New Generation of Immunometabolic Therapy" and the Imperial College team "Hydrogen Core Intelligent Engine-Proton Core, Hydrogen Storage and Energy Release" won the silver award; The University College London team won the bronze award for "Nanoscale Early Screening Technology for Blood Dripping Diseases," as well as the "Cell Robot Targeted Cancer Treatment System" from King's College London.

The competition attracted applicants from over 40 universities in the UK, 127 project teams, and about 500 young people from different disciplines. The competition aims to deepen international exchanges and cooperation in innovation education, promote the exchange of scientific and technological talents between China and the UK, and help build an open and inclusive global innovation and entrepreneurship competition platform.
