CBBC welcomes Consumer Members for New Year Mixer, Matro Group meets with brands at CBBC London office
On 1st February, CBBC was delighted to host Matro Group, we invited brands to learn more about Matro’s international pavilions and the shopping experience they offer as well as case studies of brands they already host at respective pavilions.
Brands were also given the opportunity to have 1-2-1 meetings with Matro, which prove crucial when brands are looking into market entry or diversifying the partners they work with if already in market.
The CBBC team were also excited to launch the Experience Guide programme, allowing brands to offer their immersive shopping experience, this will be offered to visiting delegations.
Following the Matro briefing, we held our Consumer Member mixer, this was started by a briefing from our Senior Policy Analyst Kenrick Davis as well hearing from CBBC Consumer colleagues, this covered the current challenges in the market as well as emerging trends and evolving behaviour of the Chinese consumer.
Finally, the afternoon was rounded off by networking with drinks and nibbles, including those kindly supplied by CBBC Members Fine Cheese Company and Tŷ Nant.
