CBBC welcomes China Pacific Insurance Company (CPIC) to London

On 31st May, CBBC were delighted to host a delegation from CPIC led by Chairman Fu Fan, joined by colleagues from the CPIC leadership team.
This was a fantastic chance for CBBC members and partners to meet with one of the largest insurance companies in China.
CBBC's President Lord Sassoon and Vice President Andrew Seaton (outgoing CBBC CEO) kicked off the meeting by giving a warm welcome to Chairman Fu and his colleagues and congratulated the CPIC team on the organisations growth within 3 decades.
Lord Sassoon welcomed Chairman Fu's leadership of CPIC that has seen it grow it's international engagement, notably it's recent partnership with Swiss Re.
Chairman Fu, thanks CBBC for their hospitality and was please to see such a full room of different business from across the sector. He congratulated many of the businesses on their long history and expressed hope that CPIC can too be known for it's rich history.
He also recognised the calibre of companies around the table, highlighting Lloyd's of London and JP Morgan & chase who are well known to CPIC and indeed are in conversation about areas of collaboration, as well making clear that CPIC is open to conversations with other western business due to the scope of CPIC's own business.
CBBC Members and Partners such as Schroders, JP Morgan, Lloyds of London, Abrdn and HSBC were then given an opportunity to introduce their own companies and history as well ask Chairman Fu for his take on the China financial sector and what opportunities there are for western businesses.
