About the UK Investment Conference

CBBC’s UK Investment Conference will provide a platform for existing and future Chinese investors to share their thoughts and plans on the UK as a destination for investment – which is a critical and growing area of our work. With increasing complementarity between the needs of the UK economy and the technologies and expertise of Chinese business, we are entering a new era for investment from China into the UK. This, coupled with the instalment of a new UK Government following the recent General Election, provides further impetus for us to highlight the important role Chinese business plays, and must continue to play, in the UK economy.

Our headline speakers include senior representatives from the British and Chinese Governments as well as major Chinese companies from EV, batteries, renewables, financial services, and consumer industries. We will shortly be announcing our speakers and panelists.

About the UK Investment Guide

Launching at the UK Investment Conference 2024, CBBC’s UK Investment Guide will address the pertinent themes impacting Chinese investors. Published in Chinese, it will draw on the expertise from CBBC’s members.

The Guide will be our flagship collateral facing Chinese companies and prospective UK investors. It will also be supported by a campaign to engage Chinese businesses to explore opportunities in the UK by building their knowledge and confidence in the market.
