International experience and graduate employability: international employer and student perspectives
The project - International experience and graduate employability: international employer and student perspectives is funded by the Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC). This project aims to investigate the perspectives of Chinese employers and students on how study abroad experiences contribute to graduates’ employability. It intends to bridge the gaps between the requirements of employers and the graduate skills promoted by the university and obtained by Chinese students in the UK.
We would therefore like to invite Chinese employers to participate in our consultation meetings. The consultation meeting could increase employers’ visibility to the students at the University of Sheffield; better understand the graduate skills promoted by UK universities; and express recruitment requirements to us.
