The University of Cambridge and CL Global Academy LLC Sign Memorandum of Understanding, Paving the Way for Collaborative Endeavours

The Chancellor, Masters and Scholars of the University of Cambridge through the Department of Engineering and CL Global Academy LLC have taken a significant stride towards fostering academic connections. On 12th July, both entities officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to formalize their shared interests.

This MOU serves as a foundation for enhancing academic cooperation between the two prestigious institutions. By promoting collaborations, such as faculty and student exchanges, joint research endeavours, and sharing educational and scholarly materials, the partnership aims to elevate the quality of education and research outcomes.

CL Global Academy is an international education company designing and organising academic and professional courses globally for international universities and institutions. It is accredited by the British Accreditation Council for further Independent and Higher Education. Since 2016, CL Global Academy has been a longstanding member of CBBC, and the enduring collaboration has yielded productive and fruitful outcomes.

Reckitt Taicang Factory Phase 2 Durex PU Condom Project started construction

On July 6th, Reckitt China announced the official commencement of Durex PU Condom Project of Taicang factory, with a total investment of 350 million Chinese Yuan and an area of almost 20,000 square meters, which is expected to go into operation in Jan 2026.

Successful Collaboration between Trinity College London and WPTA China

On July 13th, the "Sino-British Trinity Music Education Forum," organised by Trinity College London and the World Piano Teachers Association (WPTA) China, was successfully held at the Consulate General of the United Kingdom in Guangzhou, China. The event brought together officials, representatives, and experts from the British Consulate General in Guangzhou, Trinity College London, and the WPTA China Chapter. The event attracted over a hundred experienced music professionals, scholars, and frontline music teachers from China. Together, they gathered to gain insights into Trinity's music assessments & qualifications and teaching content, exchange ideas on Sino-British music teaching philosophies, and explore new forms of collaboration.

Trinity College London, established in 1872, invented music graded exam system and has a rich history and heritage in providing performance certification and qualification. Their comprehensive and scientific system of music grading exams and diploma certifications has been renowned worldwide for nearly 150 years, gaining recognition from numerous educational institutions, professional organisations, and relevant authorities globally.

Consul-General Sarah Mann of the British Consulate in Guangzhou warmly congratulated Trinity College London on establishing its office in China in 2022 and bringing its entire system and content to the country. Since its establishment in China, Trinity has already established collaborations with many outstanding professional institutions and schools. In June of this year, Trinity College London China office reached a formal partnership with WPTA China, marking the beginning of comprehensive exchanges and cooperation between the two organisations in advancing, promoting, and enhancing music education, skills, and assessments in China.
