CBBC hosts successful UK Business Mission to Hangzhou
From Wednesday to Friday, 22–24 April, the China–Britain Business Council (CBBC) led a delegation of British companies to Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, as part of its 2026 Delegation Programme.
Over the two-day programme, delegates were taken to the heart of Hangzhou’s innovation ecosystem, visiting a range of cutting-edge companies across robotics, artificial intelligence, electric vehicles and the digital economy. These engagements offered first-hand insight into how emerging technologies are being developed, commercialised and scaled in China’s rapidly evolving market.
The delegation also met with senior government officials, including the Party Secretary and Governor of Zhejiang, to better understand regional priorities and the policy environment supporting innovation and industrial growth.
A series of forums, seminars and business matchmaking sessions enabled delegates to engage directly with local companies, exchange perspectives and explore areas for potential collaboration.
