CBBC hosts South China Briefing in Guangzhou
The China-Britain Business Council (CBBC) held a South China member briefing in Guangzhou on Wednesday, March 25th. The event invited Mr. Trevor Lewis, Head of Trade and Investment, South China, Department for Business and Trade & Deputy Director - Innovation and Industry , British Consulate-General Guangzhou to attend and deliver a speech.
Trevor outlined the UK government's current priorities, emphasised China's importance as the UK's third-largest trading partner, and shared the key work plans for the South China region this year.
Representatives from CBBC member organisations, including PwC, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), CSC, and The Berkeley Group, participated in the event. They engaged in discussions with Trevor, combining the topics with their local business contexts.
During the meeting, Ms. Yuki Zheng, Office Manager of CBBC Guangzhou Office, also introduced CBBC’s 2026 Delegation Programme, as well as CBBC's key event plans for the year.
