Welcomed by CBBC Chief Executive, Andrew Seaton, and CBBC Executive Director, Lise Bertelsen, the delegation from Hezhou New Area included Zhao Li, Secretary of the Administrative Committee of Hezhou New Area; Huang Jingjing, Secretary of Dangan Town Committee, Zhuhai; Mu Danfeng and Cai Dujing, Director and Chief Scientist, respectively, of the First Level of Investment Promotion Center of Hezhou New Area, Zhuhai; and Tian Run, General Manager of Zhuhai Wanshan Investment Promotion Service Co Ltd.

The delegation met with representatives from CBBC Members in an intimate roundtable setting to promote opportunities within Hezhou New Area for UK companies in the high-end manufacturing, aviation support, electronic information, medical health, informational logistics, MICE, commerce and trade, cross-border e-commerce, modern service, and marine economy industries. The delegation also answered questions on investment promotion schemes.

CBBC and the delegation from Hezhou New Area discussed for the future cooperation and the potential of signing an MoU to explore opportunities for UK-China business cooperation and to build a platform and bridge for UK businesses to invest in Zhuhai.
