The event brought together over 100 representatives from government, industry and academia to explore opportunities for UK-China cooperation, and provided plentiful opportunities for networking and knowledge-exchange.

Speeches were delivered by Mr Ren Hongbin, Chairman of CCPIT, Mr John Primrose, Deputy Director of Exports and Inwards Investment, Scottish Government, Mr Zhang Biao, Consul General of China in Edinburgh, Ms Hu Fang, Chief, Chief Executive Officer of ICBC (London) plc, and Mr Peter Burnett OBE BBS, Chief Executive of CBBC.

During the forum, the China International Exhibition Center Group's Chairman, Mr Lin Shunjie introduced the upcoming CISCE and a memorandum of cooperation was signed with relevant British partners.
