CBBC Chair Visit Shanghai Reception
The reception provided a platform for Chair Sir Sherard Cowper-Coles and Chief Executive Andrew Seaton to catch up with Members and stakeholders. Zhu Yi, Deputy Director, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, Chris Wood, Consul General, British Consulate Shanghai, and Tom Simpson, Managing Director, China, China China-Britain Business Council attended and spoke at the event.

Shanghai Programme
During the day, CBBC’s Chair and Chief Executive, together with a group of Members, met with Shanghai Party Secretary, Chen Jining. The programme also included roundtable meetings with Members and a visit to NIO House to find out more about the company's international expansion plans.

About CBBC's Chair Visit
Last week, Sir Sherard and Andrew Seaton started their first visit to China since late 2019. The visit will cover Shenzhen, Shanghai, Beijing, and Guangzhou between 17th-26th May and include a range of meetings with senior Chinese Government officials as well as events to engage with CBBC Members and stakeholders across China.
