- HMG’s ambition to maintain a consistent, long term and strategic approach to the UK’s relationship with China
- Kate’s priorities and where she sees the greatest opportunities in the UK-China economic relationship
- How the UK should balance commercial opportunities with economic security, including managing strategic dependencies and strengthening supply-chain resilience
- How the UK can best capture the opportunities arising from China’s going global agenda and the resulting inward FDIs
- The continued role of Hong Kong in the UK-China economic relationship, including its position as a gateway for trade, investment and financial services
