The China-Britain Business Council (CBBC) was represented at the China Development Forum 2026 by its Chair, Sir Sebastian Wood KCMG, Chief Executive, Peter Burnett OBE, and Managing Director for China, Tom Simpson. 

Senior business leaders, including chairs and chief executives from CBBC member companies such as AstraZeneca, Anglo American plc, HSBC, Prudential plc, Rio Tinto, and Standard Chartered Bank, also participated in the forum.

Sir Sebastian Wood joined the Symposium on High-level Opening-up of the Service Sector as a speaker, during which he called for increasing mutual openness and provided recommendations on advancing high-level opening-up to support trade in services.
