British Business Targets New Opportunities at CIFTIS 2023

The Opening CIFTIS and the UK Pavilion
On Saturday, 2 September, Minister of State in the Department for Business and Trade Lord Dominic Johnson opened the UK Pavilion, CIFTIS 2023's Guest Country of Honor. Lord James Sassoon, President of the China-Britain Business Council, attended the opening ceremony and a series of events at the UK Pavilion. Lord Sassoon is bringing a delegation of financial services firms from London to meet with Chinese regulators and financial institutions.

Saturday morning, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng declared the opening of the Global Trade in Services Summit of the 2023 CIFTIS. Before the summit started, the vice premier inspected the venues of the CIFTIS.
