2023 CIFTIS丨UK Guest Country of Honor Press Conference Held
Zhou Ling, Deputy Director-General of Beijing International Trade in Services Center, expressed her thanks to the UK and introduced the 2023 CIFTIS. The trade fair is scheduled to take place at the China National Convention Center, National Indoor Stadium and Shougang Park from September 2 to September 6.
John Edwards, HM Trade Commissioner for China, set out the UK's plan to hold exhibitions and conferences at the 2023 CIFTIS as the guest country of honor. The UK government, as the guest country of honor, attaches great importance to the 2023 CIFTIS and will send senior officials to participate in the fair and related commercial and bilateral activities.
The UK and leading British enterprises will form the largest ever service trade exhibition group at CIFTIS to showcase the digital services, environmental services, financial and professional services, education services, healthcare services, and offerings from creative industries.

CIFTIS is an opportunity for businesses to engage with government stakeholders, for China to exhibit its own strengths and ambitions for the service sector, and for international service companies to announce deals with local partners. CBBC as the representatives of UK business interests in China will continue to emphasise the importance of the UK involvement at CIFTIS and enhance the trade collaboration between the UK and China.
The UK’s presence at CIFTIS 2023 will be led by the DBT with support from the CBBC and include a UK pavilion as well as other opportunities for British business to get involved.
