2023 China-Europe Bio-Pharmaceutical Innovation and Cooperation Forum, as part of the CIFTIS programme
2023 China-Europe Bio-Pharmaceutical Innovation and Cooperation Forum, as part of the CIFTIS programme, took place on 4th September 2023 at the Zhongguancun Science Park.
The event saw the signing of an MoU and a cooperation agreement by Kiran Patel, Senior Director of the China-Britain Business Council (CBBC), and Mark Xu, Director, Industrial Economy of the CBBC, to advance international development, technological innovation, industrial transformation, and international cooperation between Haidian district and the UK in the healthcare and life sciences sector.

CBBC signed an MoU with Beijing Haidian Association of Trade in Services and Sourcing Services (HASS)
CBBC signed an agreement with four Chinese Healthcare and Life Sciences companies to explore market opportunities in the UK.
"Haidian is the key strategic partner for CBBC, particularly with its reputation as China’s Silicon Valley and a leading region for industries such as IT, HCLS and AI robotics. CBBC will work with Haidian to position the attractive points of their business environment and preferential policies to stimulate investment from the UK," said Kiran Patel.
