The Canton Fair, also known as the China Import and Export Fair, is the largest and one of the most prestigious trade fairs in China. Established in 1957, it is held biannually in Guangzhou, every spring and autumn, and is co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of China and the Guangdong Provincial Government, and organized by the China Foreign Trade Centre. The fair spans over 1.1 million square meters, with over 60,000 exhibition booths and more than 25,000 exhibitors from all around the world. Attracting over 200,000 international buyers from more than 210 countries and regions, the Canton Fair is a critical hub for businesses seeking to access the Chinese market or to export goods internationally.
