Jamie Rowlands has been enforcing and protecting clients' IP for nearly 20 years with a strong focus on patents and trade marks. His work has always been internationally focussed and has acted on global disputes involving parties from the UK, Europe, USA, China, Japan and Africa. He has significant experience in the automotive and advanced manufacturing sectors.
 
Consistent with his international outlook, Jamie lived in China and headed up the firm's China practice between 2015 and 2019 where he was involved in IP litigation at all levels of the Chinese court system as well as administrative and criminal counterfeiting actions with unprecedented success rates for clients. He remains very active in China related IP work for clients.  China Business Law Journal named him as one of 50 Elite Foreign Lawyers working in China in 2018.

John McLuskie is President – GKN Automotive China and Deputy General Manager of SDS,  Automotive’s joint venture in China. John began his career at GKN Automotive in 1988 in an engineering role, and since then has held global roles of increasing seniority in Commercial,  Management, Business Development and General Management, based in India, Japan, Germany, United Kingdom and China.
John holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Leeds.

Moving away from asset management, Stuart pursued his passion for all things automotive and took the role of Head of Global Business Development with Gtechniq, a leading car care product manufacturer, with a focus on protective coatings. Responsible for the distribution of product into over 60 countries and leading the sales function for the business, Stuart has recently taken Gtechniq into the Chinese market with the aim to become a market leader in the Chinese car detailing and surface protection arena.
