From 16th-20th October, more than 2,000 delegates from the Chinese Communist Party will meet in Beijing for the 20th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party.
During this meeting the Congress will select the Central Committee of the Party, a group who will subsequently approve the membership of both the Chinese Politburo and Standing Committees. Collectively these represent changes to China’s most powerful decision-making bodies.
