CBBC Member Briefing with Guangzhou Consul-General Jo Hawley & Virtual Farewell
CBBC is delighted to host a members-only online briefing with HM Consul-General in Guangzhou, Jo Hawley, on Thursday 23rd June 2022.
Ms Hawley was appointed as HM Consul General in Guangzhou in July 2019, since which she has led the British Government’s engagement in southern China, which includes Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Hunan, and Jiangxi provinces.
During this session, Ms Hawley will provide an update on the latest in her region, followed by a live discussion with members. In addition, since Ms Hawley will be finishing her term as Consul-General in Guangzhou by end of June, CBBC invites members to join us for a virtual farewell to thank her for the work and support that she provided and give her our best wishes.
We will be engaging with the Chongqing and Wuhan Consul-Generals in the subsequent months. Stay tuned.
