Tom Duke has been appointed as the Minister Counsellor for the Department for International Trade in March 2019 and Deputy HM Trade Commissioner to China in 2020. As a member of the DIT China senior leadership team,  Tom is responsible for trade and investment promotion, trade policy and market access across a range of industry sectors including Energy, Transport, Infrastructure, Retail, Food and Drinks, Creative Industries and Sports. Tom has been the UK’s intellectual property attaché to China since December 2011. IP attachés helps to build relations with the governments of host countries to understand and actively engage with IP policy makers.​

Yan Guo

Before joining ZEDfactory, Yan worked on a number of high profile international schemes such as the Kings Cross development in London (with John McAslan & Partners) and Shenzhen (Bao Fu) Airport terminal 3 (with Fosters & Partners). Yan is in charge of all ZEDfactory projects from China and Asia. She has led design teams on a diverse range of large scale demo residential, commercial buildings and culture projects in China. This includes a tourist centre in Zhangwu, as well as a water museum, and a boutique club house all in the bamboo forest.

By far, he has represented more than 500 various intellectual property cases and among them, over 100 cases were tried by China Supreme People's Court. William is the specialist of vertical transportation and smart building design, and the key member in many famous projects including Wuhan Centre, Changsha IFS, Chongqing Vanke Centre, etc. He spent much effort in recent years to integrate skills of building sustainability and digital, covering smart, green, health, safety and resilience elements.
