Alibaba Anti-Counterfeiting Alliance

The Alibaba Anti-Counterfeiting Alliance ("AACA") was formed in January 2017. AACA looks to combine Alibaba’s capabilities as a commerce and technology leader, with the knowledge, enforcement expertise and resources of rights holders. Together the alliance aims to establish an environment of multi-party cooperation to strengthen IPR protection for the benefit of rights holders, e-commerce platforms and consumers alike.

The China Anti-Infringement and Anti-Counterfeit Innovation Strategic Alliance ("CAASA") is a non-governmental and non-profit organisation focusing on intellectual property protection, anti-infringement, and anti-counterfeiting. Since 2015, CAASA has been committed to implementing the Societal Co-governance on IPR protection, in cooperation with its Members, those in academia, international partners, internet platforms, brand owners, and industrial associations in China and beyond, to build an efficient and open channel for parties interested from China and its international counterparts.

The Quality Brands Protection Committee of China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment (QBPC) is an industry group comprised of approximately 192 foreign-invested companies headquartered in America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania with the objective of improving China’s commercial rule of law and intellectual property protection based on cooperation with the Chinese government and all stakeholders. QBPC has been actively hosting and co-organising various seminars, forums, and training workshops, providing opinions and suggestions regarding amendments to IPR laws and regulations to the relevant legislative bodies, and also promoting public education on IPR and proactively building a platform for exchange between China and the international community.

Beijing Sunshine Intellectual Property and Legal Development Foundation

The Beijing Sunshine Intellectual Property and Legal Development Foundation (“SSIP”) is a non-public offering foundation founded in Beijing in December, 2010. It is a 4A-level charitable organization certified by the Beijing Civil Affairs Bureau. Its aim is to invigorate China through the development of science and education, to help the poors and the weaks, and to promote the development of IP and law. The scope of SSIP’s business includes: funding teaching and research, talents training, and communication and cooperation in the field of IP and law, providing scholarship, and holding other activities of public interest that are beneficial for the development of IP.
