The China-UK Green Manufacturing Report was officially released on November 30th at both the China-UK Green Low Carbon Cooperation and Exchange Conference & the China-UK Green Manufacturing Report Launch Conference.
The China-UK Green Low Carbon Cooperation and Exchange Conference is one of the key industry conferences in the field of green manufacturing in China, representing the strategic significance of China-UK collaboration in the field. Taking advantage of this opportunity, officials and experts in green manufacturing from the two countries gathered and discussed policies and opportunities.

China-UK Cooperation on Green Manufacturing
To recap the green manufacturing developments of China and the UK to date: the UK was the first major economy to pass an economy-wide net-zero emissions law, which will see the UK reduce all greenhouse gas emissions to net-zero by 2050. Green manufacturing and clean growth are at the heart of the UK’s Industrial Strategy. Meanwhile, China is the world’s largest manufacturing economy and aims to reach peak carbon emissions by 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2060.
China and the UK are the largest and ninth largest manufacturing countries in the world, respectively. Despite both countries having made great efforts in developing the green manufacturing sector, there remains a lot of potential for growth and cooperation.

The China-UK Green Manufacturing Report will help UK and Chinese policy makers, researchers, and industry professionals to understand the relevant market trends, government policies, standards, and regulatory regimes.
