Suzhou High-Speed Railway New Town Intro (SHNRT) 

Suzhou High Speed Rail New Town (“SHNRT”) was established in 2012 In the Northern core area Xiangcheng District of Suzhou City. It is within one - hour metropolitan area from the circle of major cities in Yangtze River Delta. 

SHNRT is strategically located in the heart of China’s largest automotive cluster in Eastern China, Suzhou. SHNRT is one of Jiangsu’s first Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (“CAV”) pilot areas and its first digital transportation demonstration area. More than 100 CAV enterprises are located in this area, including leading startups such as Qcraft, Momenta, and Plus.ai, Innovusion; and world-renowned companies in their respective areas such as Bosch, Geely Auto, Knorr-Bremse, Renault Nissan Mitsubishi, these companies altogether cover the whole industry chain of autonomous driving algorithms, perception, OEMs and mobility services.

There are more than 5 unicorn and pre-unicorn companies that have been developed here in SHNRT. SHNRT is 1 of 3 5G CAV pilot cities in China; 1 of 4 “DCEP” digital currency pilot cities in China; 1 of 6 Sino-Nippon Sub-national Cooperation & Demonstration cities in China; First ever “Provincial Pilot Area of IoV” in Jiangsu Province; The first “Provincial Digital Transport Demonstration Zone” in Jiangsu Province.

 

AWS Autonomous Vehicle Industry Digital Acceleration Centre

Amazon Web Services, Inc. , an Amazon.com company (NASDAQ:AMZN), announced its first autonomous vehicle Industry Digital Acceleration Center (IDAC), a AWS branded facility designed to provide comprehensive autonomous specific solutions and resources to customers. 

As automotive enterprises continue to expand globally and revolutionize by adopting cutting edge industry trending technologies such as connected, autonomous, shared, and electric, the need for both digital transformation and getting support to land and doing business in Chinese market have become prominent. Sometimes, just understanding various solutions presented by cloud providers can be difficult and time consuming. Suzhou, as one of the key central cities in China, bordering Shanghai to the east, Jiaxing to the south, Taihu Lake to the west and the Yangtze River to the north, with a total area of 8657.32 sqkm and a resident population of about 10.7 million.
