Kamarul is the Founder and CEO of Aerodyne Group, a Malaysian-based drone solutions provider that is ranked first in the world by Drone Industry Insights of Germany. He is 'EY Entrepreneur of The Year 2020', 'EY Technology Entrepreneur of The Year 2020 Malaysia' as well as 'SEBA Entrepreneur of The Year 2020’.
Kamarul led Aerodyne from a 3-person start up in 2014 to a global company with presence in 35 countries in just 6 years.

He is a TEDx speaker, and a drone industry thought leader, who has presented his ideas and innovation on AI, Drones, and Industry 4.0 around the world.

An auditor by training, Kamarul spent his formative years in the city of London before switching his career to the tech industry upon returning to Malaysia after a 10-year stint in the UK. Kamarul is an avid explorer and has travelled to more than 100 countries, both for business and pleasure.

Dr Min
Dr Wanli Min

Founder and CEO of North Summit Capital, Dr Min is a leading expert in industrial intelligence and business innovations powered by data technology and mathematics. He pioneered a 'technology + capital' strategy to accelerate digital transformation in various industries ranging from e-commerce to manufacturing and smart city.

Dr Min received a Ph.D. in statistics from The University of Chicago and B.S from the University of Science & Technology of China. His research area includes probability, stochastic process, time series analysis, machine learning, smart traffic and signal processing. He served as a researcher at  IBM T.J. Watson Research Center, IBM Singapore, and Google before joining Alibaba in 2013. Later as Chief Machine Intelligence Scientist for Alibaba Cloud, Dr Min took charge R&D in the data intelligence solutions.

In 2017, Dr Min was named by Forbes as a leading technologist driving China's AI revolution and also appointed to the advisory committee of the next-generation AI strategy under China's Ministry of Science and Technology.

Abhinand Pillay
Abhinand Pillay, SVP, Global Business and Solution Development

Abhinand brings 18 years of industry experience to the project, primarily in the energy sector, with an extensive background in project management, business development and drone operations.  Working in the oil and gas industry for half a decade, Abhinand transitioned to championing the use of drones in various areas such as construction, agriculture, security, and critical asset infrastructure.

His insights into the application of drones as vital tools for infrastructure maintenance coupled with his formal training in drone operations will be instrumental in any consultancy initiative. Abhinand is an MBA graduate with a Mechanical Engineering degree and has maintained his dedication to the field of drones and IoT. He strongly believes that digital transformation forms a significant part of the future for the construction industry.
