Meet the Speakers:

Antoaneta Becker, Director, Consumer Economy, China-Britain Business Council
Antoaneta Becker has lived and worked in China for more than 20 years. In her most recent role as a Director, Consumer Economy for the China Britain Business Council, she has supported numerous British consumer companies entering and expanding into the Chinese market.
Prior to joining CBBC, she worked as a Beijing-based reporter for several international media publications including the Economist Intelligence Unit and USA Today, covering China’s economic and social affairs. She has reported on some of the main trends and policies that have defined China’s economic trajectory over the years 2000-2010 including China’s state-owned enterprises reforms, the emergence of free trade zones, the rise of digital economy and the ascendance of the Chinese consumer.
Antoaneta is a fluent Mandarin Chinese speaker. She holds a Bachelor’s in Chinese Language and Literature and a Master’s in Chinese Contemporary Literature & Film from Peking University.

Guo Ying,Director of Intellectual Property Operations and Brand Cooperation, Taobao & Tmall Group
Mr Guo has the overall responsibility for the Taobao & Tmall group’s intellectual property (IP) protection system and brand ecosystem development.
As head of the Alibaba Anti-Counterfeiting Alliance (AACA), he has driven the evolution of IP protection from technology-driven enforcement toward ecosystem-wide collaboration, enhancing public awareness and strengthening brand value through diverse scenarios and multi-stakeholder partnerships.
Under his leadership, the team has forged deep connections with domestic and international brands, industry associations, academic institutions, and media organizations to co-construct robust IP protection mechanisms. His expertise has been widely recognized--he was named one of Asia’s "Top 40 IP Corporate Leaders".
Within Taobao & Tmall Group’s strategic framework, Guo Ying systematically advances IP protection to foster an open, sustainable industry ecosystem and support brands in their global growth.

Emily Xu, IPR Strategic Partnership Manager, Taobao & Tmall Group
Emily is responsible for the collaboration with right holders from the Pharmaceutical, Alcohol, Food & Beverage, Publishing& Software industries. Emily also leads the collaboration with Universities, Associations and Taobao & Tmall’s Test Purchase & Authentication Program.

Jessica Li, IPR Strategic Partnership Manager, Taobao & Tmall Group
Jessica is responsible for the collaboration with right holders from the Personal Care, Luxury Goods. Entertainment & Toys Jewelry & Accessories industries. Jessica was also in charge of the cooperation framework and mechanisms of the Alibaba Anti-Counterfeiting Alliance (AACA).

Echo Li, IPR Strategic Partnership Manager, Taobao & Tmall Group
Echo is responsible for the collaboration with right holders from the Automotive,Sportswear & Sporting Goods, Apparel & Footwear industries. Echo is also in charge of Taobao & Tmall’s IPR Public Awareness Programs.
