This closed-door session will serve as a debrief on the Prime Minister’s recent visit to China, with Ambassador Wilson sharing his reflections on the outcomes of the visit and the implications for UK–China business and government-to-government engagement. 

The briefing will be held as a conversation between the Ambassador, CBBC Chair Sir Sebastian Wood KCMG (former UK Ambassador to China), and CBBC CEO Peter Burnett OBE, BBS, followed by an open Q&A. 

CBBC was honoured to serve as Secretariat to the UK–China Business Council during the Prime Minister’s visit, giving us close, on-the-ground insight into the discussions, priorities, and opportunities that emerged. This session is designed to offer members a candid, first-hand debrief at a pivotal moment in the UK–China relationship.
