Member Briefing with Wuhan Consul-General, Dominic McAllister

During the session, Dominic will provide an update of HMG’s priorities in Central China (Hubei and Henan) covering key events that happened around the area last year and plans for the coming year.

Dominic McAllister is Consul General at the British Consulate-General Wuhan. His principle focus is developing long-term productive UK/China partnerships. Dominic has been a UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office diplomat for over 30 years serving in Former Yugoslavia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Venezuela, South Korea, Qatar and most recently as British Deputy High Commissioner in Bangalore, India. Dominic has a BSc degree in Chemistry from Kings College London and an MA degree in Chinese History from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. He is married with four children.
