The Launch of the 2022 Report on the Development of Chinese Enterprises in the UK & Dialogue Seminar (Registrations are now closed)
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of China-UK ambassadorial diplomatic relations, and also marks the third consecutive year that the CCCUK has launched the Report, which has been gaining more and more attention and high praise from political, business and academic sectors in both China and the UK year to year. This year's report reviews steady progress and outstanding achievements of Chinese enterprises in the UK over more than 50 years.
On the basis of an annual questionnaire survey of Chinese enterprises in the UK and in-depth interviews with management from both sides, the report presents a detailed picture of the current situation of these Chinese enterprises, covering a series of key topics including financial performance, employment and company management, business environment, business outlook and ESG matters. It also provides crucial recommendations to Chinese companies and the UK stakeholders. The launch will further increase British communities’ awareness and understanding of Chinese enterprises in the UK and provide important reference for strategic decision making and policy formulation of Chinese enterprises and the UK government.
In the report launch event, the CCCUK will invite Ms. BAO Ling, Minister for Economic & Commercial Affairs, Chinese Embassy in the UK, to join and deliver a keynote speech, mainly focusing on the China-UK Economic and Trade Relationship. We will also have Mr. FANG Wenjian, the Chairman of the CCCUK, to introduce this’s years report. Additionally, some high-profile speakers will share their opinions and insights on the report in a seminar session.
