In order to better support members with their ESG goals, the CBBC is launching its “ESG Matters” programme, which provides:

  • A platform to collaborate, share best practice and highlight the work your company is doing in this space
  • Regular updates on national and regional ESG development plans across China and the UK
  • Events on topics such as climate change, product innovation, cutting carbon emissions, corporate social responsibility, China’s circular economy, and more…
  • Opportunities to feed inputs to policy makers at the national and regional level to improve the sustainability of both countries' regulatory and operating environment

The first event of CBBC’s ESG Matters series will take place on 10:00 am (Beijing time) Friday 14th May and feature two information sharing sessions. The first will be on carbon management in China in the context of recent regulatory updates and capital markets initiatives. The second will be an introduction from the UK Government on the UK-China PACT Green Finance Programme and how business can become involved.
