China, being the fastest growing economy over the last two decades, has developed multiple city clusters that attract domestic and foreign investments. According to China’s 14th Five-Year Plan, the top five city clusters, Greater Bay Area (GBA), the Yangtze River Delta, the BeijingTianjin-Hebei region (Jing-Jin-Ji), the Mid-Yangtze River area and Chengdu-Chongqing area will be promoted to be power-house regions to promote domestic circulation but also function as bridges between China and the rest of the world.

Our outstanding panel will give an overview of the development of China’s financial hubs, regional innovation and investor appeal, including the economic and innovation strengths in different trade zones and city cluster. The session will also explore HK’s intermediary function to access China market, opportunities in the Greater Bay Area and the Wealth Management Connect.
