China (Fujian) - UK Economic and Trade Promotion Conference
Fujian’s strategic location, with proximity to Taiwan and the major ports at Xiamen and Fuzhou, makes it a gateway for international commerce. The province is also a key player in China’s Belt and Road Initiative, offering businesses unparalleled connectivity. With business-friendly policies, cutting-edge infrastructure, and a skilled workforce, Fujian is the ideal destination for investment and growth.
The 23rd edition of the China International Fair for Investment & Trade (CIFIT) will be held in Xiamen, Fujian from 8th to 11th September. The Fair is a national-level event, hosted by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, together with the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the World Trade Organization (WTO), the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA).
Given the importance of the host organisations, it’s not surprising that CIFIT has always attracted senior attendees from China and around the world. This year promises to be no exception, and as the ‘Country of Honour’ at this year’s Fair, the UK will have a great deal of visibility and there will be a host of activities promoting UK-China bilateral trade.
To learn more about Fujian and CIFIT, we are pleased to invite you to an event taking place in London on Tuesday 19th August, where the Fujian authorities will explain more about the Fair and its many opportunities.
