Feng Zhu is Managing Director, Chief China Economist, and Head of Greater China Economic Research at J.P. Morgan.

Before joining J.P. Morgan, Dr. Zhu held the position of Managing Director at CICC Global Institute. Previously, he served as Research Director at Luohan Academy and as a Senior Economist at the Bank for International Settlements, where he worked for over fifteen years. In addition to the Chinese economy, Dr. Zhu’s work has focused on monetary policy, digital innovations, and financial stability. His research has gained wide recognition and has been cited by leading policymakers.

Dr. Zhu holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Yale University and an MSc in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
