In the context of the Sino-US trade war, promotion of innovation and the protection of intellectual property rights has been leveraged to support China’s national strategy of developing a technology driven economy. China's legislation on trade secrets protection has been speeding up, including the recent regulations released by the Supreme People’s Court - the “Regulations of the Supreme People’s Court on Several Issues Concerning the Application of Law in the Trial of Commercial Secret Infringements” (hereinafter referred to as the “Judicial Interpretation on Cases Involving Trade Secrets”). This has drawn attention from overseas intellectual property rights holders that are keen to understand China's legislative and judicial developments, as well as practical cases around the protection of trade secrets.

This webinar, featuring our member Zhonglun Law Firm, will provide an overview of the current policies and business environment related to trade secrets’ protection in China.

Experts from Zhonglun will also share practical advice and guidelines on do’s and don’ts when entering the Chinese market, namely the following five things you need to know about the protection of trade secrets in China:
