About UK-China Business & Innovation Hub in Suzhou

The Hub concept was originally proposed by Ministry of Commerce’s Minister Wang Wentao to DBT Minister Peter Kyle during JETCO in 2025. CBBC has since taken forward the concept in partnership with Jiangsu, Suzhou, and Suzhou New District with a launch planned for May 2026.

The Hub is designed for collaboration and growth, aiming to create a business and innovation ecosystem that connects British business with one of China’s fast-growing and economically prosperous regions. It supports UK companies to enter, scale, and establish new growth drivers in the Chinese market, offering not only soft landing but also new market access opportunities with local services available to preferential policies and incentives. It provides office space, local expertise and network, as well as capability for events & meetings.
