CBBC Membership Announcement
The Board of Directors of the China-Britain Business Council agreed that with effect from 1 January 2012 membership fees would be increased to the rates set out in the table below. The increases are necessary to ensure the continued development of the assistance CBBC provides to its members which is, of course, owned by its members - at a time when China is becoming ever more important to the UK's economic well-being.
At the same time, we have also made two important changes to membership. We have introduced a new category for members with revenue over £500m called Premium Corporate Membership, and we have discontinued the Associate Membership category. Former Associate members will now join or renew with CBBC at the appropriate corporate membership category.
| Corporate membership | Annual revenue | Annual fee |
| Premium | Over £500m | £5,000 +VAT |
| Large | £40m to £500m | £2,900 +VAT |
| Medium | £7m to £40m | £1,500 +VAT |
| Small | Less than £7m | £870 +VAT |
| Individual membership | n/a | £175 +VAT |
