China’s Green Economy - Survey on SMEs Experiences

Chinadialogue has been asked to produce a short policy brief for Friends of Europe on how the EU/EC might better assist EU SMEs to succeed in the green economy in China.  As part of their research, they would like to contact SMEs working in green technologies, energy efficiency, renewable energy, green building, waste management, air quality, soil technologies, green transport and emissions monitoring that have, or would like to have, experience of the Chinese market.

The object of the survey is to understand the opportunities and the difficulties experienced by SMEs in entering the green Chinese market and to determine what assistance is helpful to them, what services they currently use (and their assessment of their effectiveness), to what extent their company succeeded or failed in the Chinese market and why;  what support they would like to see that is currently lacking and what strategies that they would like to see the EU/EC adopt.

All information will be confidential and used only for the purposes of the report.  The online survey can be found here.  The report will be circulated to policy circles in Europe and will be freely available.
