The CBBC Launchpad Scheme enables UK companies to have a presence in China in one of CBBC’s China offices ahead of opening your own individual office. This easy-to-use scheme will provide you with the platform your business needs to enter the China market and save you valuable time and money.

The Launchpad Scheme

Under current regulations, foreign companies are unable to employ Chinese staff legally unless the company is registered in China.  The Launchpad Scheme enables UK companies to have a presence in China by having a CBBC Project Manager working exclusively on their behalf.

In consultation with the company, CBBC recruits a Project Manager to carry out research, client liaison and marketing services on behalf of the company.  Provided the recruitment process runs smoothly, it should take no more than four to six weeks to set up a Launchpad for your company.  The Launchpad Scheme is available in the following eight CBBC offices in China: Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Nanjing, Qingdao, Chengdu, Shenyang and Wuhan.

Launchpad is ideal if you want to establish a presence in China for the first time or if you have an office in one part of China but would like to extend your market cover to other locations where CBBC has office facilities (see Launchpad Plus).

Launchpad is exclusive to CBBC members.
