CBBC Company Checks
What are the CBBC Company Check Services?
CBBC offers basic due diligence services which can help UK companies check the status or understand the capabilities of potential Chinese suppliers or partners.
CBBC Company Registration Report – and what it means for you
The local office of the State Administration of Industry and Commerce (AIC) is the Chinese equivalent of the UK’s “Companies House”. All companies in China are legally required to register with the municipal level AIC bureau to obtain their business licence.
A CBBC Company Registration Report uses the Chinese company’s AIC registration to provide you with the following information:
- Company name
- Registered address
- Registration number
- Legal representative
- Registration capital
- Date of registration
- Type of enterprise
- Business scope
- Renewal status
The Report will also confirm that the company has been legally registered and the date on which the company was registered.
This basic company information will help you determine whether the company is bona fide and is legitimately registered. You will then be in a position to make a more informed decision about whether the Chinese company might be an appropriate business partner and assess what further due diligence may be appropriate.
More in-depth Due Diligence
