The emergence of China as a world leader has led an increasing number of young British professionals to consider and to take up early-career positions in the country.

The Young Professionals Forum aims to provide both an on-the-ground and online sphere in which young professionals can make connections, stay informed, and find guidance and support.

Marcia Lin, the Business Consulting Director of Lee & Lee Associates, has been providing investment and business consulting services to foreign invested enterprises during the past seven years. Lee & Lee Associates is a professional accounting and business consulting firm.

Graduating from the University of Warwick in MSc Management, Mandy worked as the Liaison Officer for Warwick for two years, organising alumni and careers events for young professionals. Now Mandy is the Senior International Officer for King’s College London, responsible for marketing and recruitment in the China market.

Katie was born in Mongolia and raised in several different countries. She is passionate about travelling, ballroom dancing and volunteering. Katie spent four years in Seattle and worked for the Red Cross overseeing operations in Mongolia. She came to Tsinghua University in Beijing to pursue a master’s degree in international law. In July 2015 Katie assumed the role of manager at the Hilton Beijing.
