The Marketing & Communications (Marcom) forum aims to provide a platform for those working or interested in Marketing and Communications to enhance their knowledge in areas including but not limited to digital marketing, advertising, public relations and new communications tools and channels. In addition, the forum will present regular chances for members and non-members alike to discuss industry updates, challenges, and new opportunities.

Forum Objectives

To run high-quality industry specific events that engage Marcom professionals both in terms of leverage for their brands and providing thought leadership through hosting top quality speakers.

To build up a resource network for Marcom professionals and expand communications tools within the British Chamber and CBBC community.

To provide market knowledge and offer a vast number of opportunities for professional development across a diverse range of Marketing and Communications job skills.

Marketing & Communications Forum Chairs

After graduating with an Economics degree from Manchester University, Mark moved to China in 2009 to study Mandarin intensively. He joined Dulwich College as Marketing Manager and currently works at Ogilvy as a Public Affairs Consultant. Mark is also a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing having recently completed his CIM.

Kiran is the Marketing & Communications Director of LehmanBrown International Accountants and has been living in China for more than 10 years. He is proactive in British Chamber activities, is also Co-Chair of the CSR Forum and an organiser of the British Charity Ball. He graduated in 2001 from the University of Derby in Politics & International Relations and was also the SU President for 2 years. Kiran is fluent in Mandarin and is also a member of the Executive Committee for 2015-2016.
