Edinburgh—Dentons has advised Beijing-headquartered Goldwind, one of the world's largest wind turbine manufacturers, in respect of its £21 million subscription for shares in the capital of Oxford Photovoltaics Limited.
Goldwind is a world leading wind turbine technology and energy solutions provider, hailed as one of China's most innovative companies. It currently has over 31,000 operational wind turbines across six continents, and more than 50GW of installed wind capacity.
Oxford Photovoltaics is a leading technology business which develops and commercialises perovskite solar cells, enabling the accelerated transfer of technology into industrial scale silicon solar cell production. It has a research and development site in Oxford, and an industrial pilot line near Berlin.
