China's Ministry of Commerce has published a revised Catalogue for Techniques Prohibited and Restricted from Import involving 126 techniques from 19 industries (Decree No.7, 2007 of Ministry of Commerce). This list will take effect on 23 November 2007. The Catalogue for Techniques Prohibited and Restricted from Import (the first batch) (Decree No.15, 2001 of the Former Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation and the Former State Economy and Trade Commission) shall be rescinded at the same time.
The two major lists for prohibited and restricted techniques are currently only available to the general public in Chinese. However, CBBC has produced a translation of the lists for its members. You can download both the English and Chinese versions here:
