CBBC's unique Great British Brands Festival (GBBF) series
focuses on giving UK brands the opportunity to sell their products directly to Chinese consumers, helping British retailers to establish a strong base in fast-emerging consumer markets in every corner of China. For over 5 years we have organised high-profile UK-themed sales exhibitions through partnerships with Chinese government bodies and the best shopping malls across China.
In 2017 we held 4 GBBF events in Haikou , Foshan, Changsha and Wuhan, generating B2C sales and B2B opportunities for participants from consumer sectors including fashion, beauty, homeware, and food and beverage. Mini Cooper, JLR, Tiptree, Greene King, Holland & Barrett, Tomic, Target Dry, Numinous and many other British brands have joined the 5th
GBBF with CBBC.
We also run the Great British Brand Festival PLUS
where possible alongside GBBF, encompassing B2B matchmaking and networking opportunities and market briefings to enhance the B2C sales opportunities, helping businesses understand the local retail market in a particular province or region, and identify new potential stockists, distributors, or sub-distributors. In 2017, CBBC recruited 20 food & drink brands to showcase their products at the 7th
China International Alcoholic Beverages Expo in Guizhou. For high-end British brands, CBBC also organised a networking events for British bespoke brands and Hunan business elites where Vispring Scabal, the UK Butler Association and Abercrombie & Kent have participated.
