China Life Sciences Market Access Roadshow 2018

An opportunity for UK medical technology and pharmaceutical companies to learn the latest about the Chinese life sciences market, including the opportunities, challenges (and mitigations), and the various routes to market.

6 - 13 March 2018

China Context:

  • Rapidly growing economy;
  • Changing demographics  (wealth, lifestyles and age);
  • Increasing/healthcare disease burden;
  • Strong government focus on healthcare and rapidly growing government and private spend.

Following the Prime Minister’s recent visit to China, there is a greater impetus for trade between the UK and China.  In this context, and the context of recent progressive changes seen in the Chinese life science market, UK Department for International Trade is organising a series of seminars.  These events will feature expert speakers on important topics for UK businesses considering exports, operations and investments with China.  There will be opportunities for 1-2-1 meetings with China based, life science focused DIT staff and also a delegation of Chinese life science businesses (Week 1 only).  Attendees will also receive a DIT/CBBC pack of market research reports aligned to the seminar topics.
