CBBC Consumer Masterclass Series 2020

Food & Drink and Social Commerce Marketing

Based on the government’s COVID-19 guidelines and to ensure the health and safety of our staff and members, we have put these masterclasses temporarily on hold. We will announce new dates as soon as it is possible.

CBBC is pleased to announce dates for our upcoming China Consumer Masterclasses. With a focus on the consumer sectors, the two series will comprise Social Commerce & Marketing and Food & Drink focused content.

With 48 million Chinese users and a market value of £220 billion last year – brands should look to Social Commerce to drive their next phase of growth. The China Social Masterclass Series 2020 will feature two events: the Social Media Marketing Masterclass, followed by the Social Commerce Masterclass.

Each session will feature three speakers from CBBC’s digital marketing and ecommerce member companies, and  will be followed by a 30 minute Q&A. Find more information here.

With a market worth £1.2 trillion and 800 million consumers shopping online, traditional routes to market for Food & Drink brands in China are changing fast; and cross-border E-commerce presents an excellent opportunity for UK Food & Drink brands to capitalise on the China opportunity. The China Food & Drink Masterclass Series will feature three events hosted in CBBC’s London Office. Importing & Distributing: Do’s and Don’ts for Food and Drink Companies, will launch the series, followed by an imported spirits focused masterclass: The China Spirit. The series will come to a close with a third masterclass: The Routes to China Food & Drink Market: A Guide for UK Brand Owners.
