Company visits to Chinese manufacturers
Journey to a 2nd Tier City - Jiangyin, Wuxi
CBBC is organising a short mission to Jiangyin, Wuxi. Exclusive to CBBC members, the mission will comprise visits to several leading Chinese companies and to an industrial zone.
The visit will help you get to know and to introduce yourself to some exciting Chinese businesses:
Jetion Holdings Ltd: A manufacturer of solar cells and modules. The company was listed on AIM in 2007. Deloitte ranked it No 1 among China's Top 50 high-tech and high growth companies in 2008.
Shuangliang Group: The largest central air conditioning manufacturer in Asia. The group has 2 listed and 18 subsidiary companies.
China Sunshine (TBC): The world's largest wool textile manufacturer, and China's largest uniform and suit maker. The company was listed on the Shanghai Stock market in 2001. More recently, it has diversified into new sectors, including bio-pharmaceuticals and solar energy.
If you are: operating in / interested in any of these sectors, a professional services provider, or considering an expansion of your manufacturing facilities, then we encourage you to participate in the mission.

CBBC Visit to the 5th China Jilin Northeast Asia Investment and Trade Expo
Changchun City, Jilin
The People's Government of Jilin Province is hosting the Jilin Northeast Asia Investment and Trade Expo (NAITE) between 2-6 September 2009.
Following his visit to the UK, Vice Governor Chen Weigen has personally invited China-Britain Business Council to organise a delegation of UK companies to visit Changchun for this event. Members will recall the very informative UK London-China Jilin Economic & Trade Cooperation Seminar held on 2nd December - this visit will provide an excellent opportunity for members to see for themselves the opportunities in North East China and beyond.
The NAITE, approved by the State Council of China, will be co-sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and National Development and Reform Commission. During the NAITE industries and products from countries within the Northeast Asian region will be exhibited. Exhibition halls will be offered to the top 500 enterprises around the world, to Northeast Asian countries, Jilin Province, large overseas cities and enterprises, as well as other provinces, regions and municipalities. The NAITE will form a specialised commodity trade platform between China and other Northeast Asian countries for multi-lateral cross-regional economic cooperation and will offer the delegates a convenient route to tap Northeast Asia. CBBC members both in the UK and China are invited to join the CBBC delegation to NAITE led by Chief Executive Stephen Phillips. It will also be an excellent opportunity to learn more about this fast developing part of China. China Incentive, Business Travel and Meetings Exhibition

CIBTM is the international exhibition dedicated to the meetings incentive events and business travel industry, taking place annually in Beijing, China.
The VisitBritain stand at CIBTM provides a platform for partners from which to influence the local and international meetings and incentives industry. In 2007 visitors to show numbered 3,869 from 30 countries, including 262 hosted buyers.

Take It To The World: ECO Expo Asia 2009 Hong Kong
Eco Expo Asia is a four day trade fair, to be held in Hong Kong on 28-31 October, which gives participants access to leading players in government, environmental services, property development, public utilities, construction and sourcing.
The Expo is held concurrently with the Eco Asia Conference, which allows industry professionals to exchange knowledge and the latest technology concerning environmental protection. This year the Expo and Conference will focus on four key areas of opportunity: Green PRD, energy efficiency, carbon emissions and green building.
