The China-Scotland Business Awards & The Chinese Burns Supper 2019 (Edinburgh)
The Chinese Burns Supper
Now going into its 6th year, CBBC’s Chinese Burns Supper has become a permanent fixture in the China-Scotland business calendar. The event features a fusion of Burns Night traditions with those of Chinese New Year as a backdrop for black-tie networking for the China-Scotland business and educational community. For the 2nd year in a row, it will also serve as the platform to present the China-Scotland Business Awards 2019

Returning to the Waldorf Astoria in Edinburgh on January 24th 2019, business networking opportunities will be particularly strong with the CBBC Board sitting in Edinburgh the following day, as well as a plethora of contenders for the Business Awards set to attend.
Partnering with the Confucius Institute for Scotland in the University of Edinburgh
has ensured that we will have another stellar line-up on the entertainment side, including for the first time Hong-Kong based Kate Targett-Adams being flown in especially to perform. An excellent speaker also confirmed for the Immortal Memory, as well as some other unique and new elements of cultural fusion lie in wait, not least on the culinary front. Following a Head Chef exchange with the Waldorf Astoria Beijing in the autumn, an amazing menu has been drawn up for our cross-cultural palettes to enjoy!
